GLENN MURRAY says Crystal Palace go into the international break on a high after two impressive results.

The Eagles won at arch rivals Brighton last Tuesday then drew with West Ham at Selhurst Park on Saturday to glean four points out of a possible six against tough opposition.

Former Brighton striker MURRAY, 28, netted in both games and reckons staying unbeaten aginst the high-flying Seagulls and Hammers was the perfect response to the defeat at struggling Doncaster.

He said: "I think for the whole squad it has been a pretty good last five days. It was good obviously for me to be able to score at my old club and if we could have got the result against West Ham then it would have been perfect.

"However, overall it has been a good week, especially after the Doncaster defeat. It is good to have got those points ahead of the international break.

"We let ourselves down at Doncaster but we have shown some resilience and bounced back."

MURRAY says he is enjoying linking up alongside Wilfried Zaha in the Palace attack.

MURRAY said: "Obviously it was going to take a little while for everybody to get used to to me because I am new to the club, but now it is starting to work.

"It is a pleasure playing with the likes of Wilfried because I know I am always going to get quality into the box and he is always going to make things happen around me."
